Did people in biblical timea have sex with animals as part of the religious beliefs?

yes. If you study the mythology, it specifies the existence of half man like beasts, which would possibly encapsulate the mythology of sexual intercourse with animals.

Hard to imagine what religious belief would require that. However, there have been instances of sexual congress between humans and some types of animals since the beginning of history. But it's very unusual, and has nothing to do with any religious belief.

Just a couple months ago a man was found 25 miles from my home humping his gf dead dog he was even charged with assault for hitting the animal control officer trying to stop him the dog had been dead for 4-5 days they found a pile of porn and dead animals in his secret spot in the woods behind a daycare i can find the link to the news paper article on it it was in baycity times

Since the Old Testament specifically mentions this as an abomination, it must have been practiced. There really is nothing new under the sun. If it's being done today, it was probably done way back when.

Uh, I don't think so but if they did, I'm sure God wasn't happy with it because it says in the bible that thou shalt not lie with animals. Beastiality is a sin. If they did this in biblical times, it wasn't to honor the God I know of.

People PROBABLY had plenty of animal action back in the day but how many of them recorded it?
And The bible condemns beastiality several times, so nobody did it for buddy Christ, but it could have been a pagen thing...(german scat porn)

In Leviticus, God outlined NOT to have sex with animals, among other things, so, yes...if man can think it up, he'll probably do it. And no, it is definitely NOT condoned by God.
