I have laptop , but some of the hardwares are missing the drivers. my PCI modem, and my VGA, and base system device.
I don't know the name of these hardwares. Is there any way to find out which drivers are needed for these hardwares to function properly? Is there a software that searches my computer and finds out which drivers to install?

You could try Driver Detective (http://www.drivershq.com/Home.aspx), but the recommended method is to go visit the laptop manufacturer's official site, search for your model and download the drivers from there if they offer it.

Look on your hard disk for a folder called Drivers. Right click on each device and choose Properites, then Update Driver. Point the dialog box to this directory or a corresponding subdirectory that may have a compatible device driver.
