Do you know the difference between an artist and the rest of us? Everybody has ideas, but only an artist records them.

Rest assured, you don't have the money to hire a contract video game artist. Most VG artists work for software developers and receive a salary. If you are really committed to the idea of being a VG artist or writer, take a class in programming and design so you can learn to get your own work out of your head and into your computer. Otherwise you need to find another outlet for your creativity.
