Relate the seasons with the colors they are linked with then the type of feeling you get as you image each and every.observe this into human thoughts and maybe you get... Spring.clean, clean and crammed with promise. summer.spectacular, clean and heat. Autumn. The time to think of on the previous and destiny. wintry climate.the top or the passing. So reckoning on the place you're romantically this is colored to your"vibe". Emerson's sexual practices have been his and no judgement must be made and confident he had ideals yet his very own.

An interpretation I may offer you, tho' I have not read Emerson. I intuit that he saying that nature, and spirit being of nature, is his spiritual connection to life on earth. He is communicating his spiritual unity with that which is perceivable, sense able and self evident, his self conscious oneness with the Creation.
