Well hung or hung well?

Well my stepbrother is a butcher and he says if the meat isn't hung long enough there will be way too much blood in it. You need to drain as much as possible for the meat to be nice and succulent. So to answer your question which ever way you really meant it. Yes the meat must be well hung.
