I have heard the story. It is in San Antonio, Texas. Supposedly it was a bus load of children that got hit by a train. They say if you go to that area and stop your car on the railroad tracks the children will push your car out of the way. People put baby powder on the back bumper of their vehicles and have said that they can see the hand prints of the children on the bumper. My husband, one of his sisters and one of his cousins say that they have done this and it is true. I am not sure of the exact location, but from what I understand, they named the streets around the area children's names. I will have to ask my husband or sister in law to see if they can recall exactly what area it is located in. They claim to have done this in their teens - they are in their 40's now, hopefully they remember! I will leave another reply when and if I get the exact location. I would actually like to try it myself. Seeing is believing! I haven't seen in on any documentaries but it has been a legend that is told around here in South Texas.

I saw the same show and was most impressed with the apparent supernatural events, until they explained, and used scientific equipment to prove the ground actually rises until just short of the marker the ghost kids are supposed to push your car from, then it slopes very gently away to the crossing and even more so on the other side. Unfortunately this one appears to be a case of false perspective on the road causing it to look like it slopes up when it doesn't. There were a few unexplained bits to that story such as possible handprints on the boot of the car. I would think it likely there are such places but the one shown on that program is not.

It happened in San Antonio Texas. I have actually been to where it happened since I live in Texas. My cousins live in SA and one day when I was younger we went and you can park on the tracks and put baby powder or flour on your bumper put car in neutral and you will be pushed UP a little hill. When you get out you will see Small hand prints in the powder. Totally happened to us and still kinda freaks me out.

Yeah, I've heard some version of that legend too. Isn't it odd that nobody who tells this story ever names the location?

That legend exists all over the country. It is only a legend.
