What of those things that cannot think for themselves like the desk I sit at or the Internet? If we think them existent are they there? What if no one thinks about them? Sorry if this hurts your brain, but do be serious. Otherwise don't bother.

Yours is the exact opposite interpretation for what he said. Rene Descartes began his query into the nature of self existence from the proposition that all was an illusion or an appearance created by a devil, that even his own self was illusory or false. Through The Meditations he follows a course of reasoning which allowed validation for his self evidence through his thought, through the The Meditation its self. Therefore, I think and therefore I am (real) or more accurately 'I think therefore I am'. All other self evident truths are sensibly concrete or in other words the senses confirm for each other the truth of the existence of a thing.

well, matter is officially described as anything with mass, so the desk is obviously existent, however, the internet's "existence" is on a different level, it has no mass, but is still interactive, and could almost be considered alive(it complies with the 5 characteristics of living things), in which case if you don't think it exists, you would be proclaiming yourself nonexistent. And the Internet is alive with ARTIFICIAL intelligence, giving it the ability to think, which as you said
"I think therefore i am" gives it existence as well

does that answer your question?

Consider the possibility that humans are so microscopic in size to a larger source of evolution, that we cannot be seen to their naked eyes, nor can we see them in all their vastness.

Consider that under advanced microscopes this larger source of evolution views us the same way we look at microorganisms in a petri dish.

They think, therefore do we exist?

Good Luck and Warm Wishes.

It is because we say it is. They are, because we say they are. We are because he says we are. Someone somewhere will always be thinking of something therefore it will always be.
