My question is this, I have been haveing media player issues since I installed this new motherboard. My media Player will load but fails to stream anything, Thus went to different types of players and same thing. I have tried many many ideas on what to do and none have helped. I did reformat my PC after putting the new motherboard in and installed everything off the cd it came with. So I have read that upgrading my BIOS might help me but I am unsure of doing that. It seems alot of people said things can go wrong when updateing BIOS. So is this maybe what needs to be dont to fix this? Maybe take the PC in and have them deal with it? Any help please this has been killing me for weeks.

Modern bios chips are pretty are pretty automatic -- not likely the problem. Bios chips are integral to the motherboard. If you are using Windows XP put the install disk in and boot from the disk by holding the control key on boot up. when it ask which drive to use select the CDRom drive . XP will ask to repair or rewrite -- select repair. It will check all your systems and fix any problems. then goto microsoft.com and download latest version of Media Player. There was an interim version of Media Player that had a few problems and caused similar problems to the one you are experiencing.

Visit the motherboard maker's website for instructions on how to flash your BIOS to a newer version.

I think it is a network/internet problem though, if you are having trouble streaming video in WMP.

if you get this on the motherboard then the change is possible. everything is integrated & soldered to the motherboard.
