For a while I've wanted to audition for American Idol and PURPOSELY sing extraordinarily horrible, just for fun. Does anyone else want to do this? Ya know, to be on TV or to just have a bit of fun?

I personally have never wanted to do that even when it came through my city.. but I hate to tell ya pal.. unless you have never watched American idol you would already know that lots of people have already thought of that idea. :)

This is the best way to distinguish urself nd go ahead it really works..u know u get noticed n the crowd.Thats the other part of the story that peole will tend to laugh at u n ur silly acts..but the best thing would be that u r finally entertaining the crowd n ur style..well only the judeges would be a little embarressed.but as the saying goes"ANYTHING 4 PUBLICITY" this is the latest trend nd u r just abiding by it..so cooooooooool one.

Yeah! I think it'd be hilarious! You'd just have be absolutely sure that you wouldn't be super upset when they said that you sucked. You'd have to be able to laugh it off when you didn't get in. Even though you know you're purposely singing poorly, it could still be upsetting.

I desperately want to do that. I don't think I'm good enough to actually make it, but I just want to sing terribly, mostly just to get on TV and to see what Simon would say. That would be fantastic.

Too many people already do that inadvertantly. What would be funny is to scream a metal song for the judges. That would be good.

i wanted to dress up like a cowboy and go to the Grease tryouts and then sing something from Oklahoma, then when they gave me the wierd looks I'd say "ya mean this isnt the tryouts for Oklahoma? thanks buttholes for wasting my time" Yeah I know where you're coming from.

No I would hate to humiliate myself, Think of your family and future kids (never mind your future period) It's fun to have fun but is it fun to be humiliated?
