I don't mind driving to get somewhere but I hate the long drive home. I've been driving a long time and it is just a necessity where I live. There is no public transportation or I'd use it.

Before I got Multiple Sclerosis I loved to drive and drive fast. My reaction time is slow and my vision is bad. I wish I was able to count the things that MS has taken away from me. BUT I'm also unable to count what positive things MS has done for me. It made me stop and smell the roses, it helped me appreciate what I do have, and never to take anything or anyone for granted. I'm more honest and humble now; it has made me a better person. MS, for me, was a blessing from God. Driving is a small price to pay.
