People, people, people!! How could you even say Jack Nicholson and Kevin Costner in the same breath??? Jack's THE MAN no questions! One Flew Over the Cucukoo's Nest? As Good As It Gets? The Departed?

As for acting ability, Jack Nicholson is by far the best. He has MANY more years experience than Costner. His personal life is so strange, it gives him the natural ability to play many of the roles he does so brilliantly AND believable. Even when he plays the "bad guy," MOST viewers can't help but cheer for his character. In Batman, I ALMOST cried when Nicholson's character, The Joker, died.
As for looks, I'm not the one to ask. I'm a totally straight guy. However, MOST women would probably think Costner is better looking. He's younger, and has that charm over a lot of women.
