Is there really that big a difference? They both stink. Then it becomes a personal choice and I'll take the Big Government Democrats because there's less religiosity. I might be swayed by big republican government if they at least moved back to financial conservatism instead of the insane spending that goes on now.

In 100 hours the Democrat's accomplished more than the Republicans in 6 years. Raised the minimum wage[which Republicans wouldn't do for 12 years, but now vote for], lowered student loan interest rates[ Republicans voted for], put Bush on notice for his handling of Iraq, started investigation of 28 billion dollars missing in Iraq contracts, banned gifts from lobbyists to lawmakers, need any more?

Big or Small, the only thing that matters is the result of the governing. At the end of the day all the rhetoric is a bunch of hot air. The quality of our leaders will be reflected in the quality of life for ALL our citizens.

The Democratic party by technique of that's totally nature is enormous authorities. The Republican party is traditionally small authorities. The Tea party is bringing the Republican party decrease back to its small authorities roots. The Republican party does no longer want huge authorities the position human beings's inner most lives are in touch. How does the Republican party want to modify sexual morality? Are you speaking about Abortion?

Both are equally as bad we should have a minimalist government or try to anyway not a leviathan of a government that seems to be the beginning of an Orwellian prophecy.

They are the same. The republicans lost their power because they acted like democrats. I mean Bush a conservative??? With his largest expansion of the welfare state since LBJ, his lack of support for second amendment freedoms and worst of all his prosecution of a war in Iraq with a level of pc that makes LBJ look like Patton, he is about at conservative as Al Franken.

republicans are typically for smaller government and less rules and regulations so I would have to say BG democrats. That is what they are all about, more taxes and bureaucracy so they can create more entitlement programs to "take care" of us.It is Socialism!!!
