-There is a good chance you saw an alien spaceship. Now, im not an alien nerd or crazy person who will just believe in anything, but i do think there is a chance you saw a UFO(alien spaceship). It is interesing the way you described it's look and it's motions. My dad has always told me a story of the time he was driving home and he saw the same thing. He said it was night and he was driving home from work in about 1979 and he saw the EXACT same thing you described. an orange, semi-rounded,semi-pointed,light. he said he was the only one on the road and the light was in the sky almost directly above him. it stopped and started, and moved slowly like you described. after a while he said it almost seemed to be following him. then after watching it for a while it got brighter and bigger like it was coming closer. eventually the light went out like it dissapeared and that was it.
- i believe you and think you saw a UFO(alien spaceship). there are many stories and accounts of alien sightings or abductions that i think are ridiculous. people like to tell stories of aliens and UFOs just to get attenion, but occasionally and in your case, people acctually do see a real UFO.there are other things it could be like a meteor or a satellite, but how impossible is it that it really could be alien life.

1/27/2015 At approximately 11:25 p.m. I took my dog outside to use the grass as her potty. I saw a light in the sky and I looked up in shock, because what I saw baffles me. I saw 8 triangle objects flying one behind the other. They were not flying fast it was almost like slow motion, they all had 3 lights red in color, but an associated said they saw white lights light a head light. I guess we differ on that. However, what stood out is that they were quiet with the exception of the last two you could hear faintly an engine of some sort. Not a airplane engine because they are loud, not a helicopter, nor a lawn more. It was simply faint. Whatever they were, I never saw anything like them at all.

I have seen many strange things in the skies and who's to say really which do and do not belong to this earth. Do we really believe we're the only ones out here?? Your description is classic textbook UFO material; or you could pass it off as the tired and true "logical explanations" of weather balloons and military craft (ummm, o.k.) I guess it is what you believe to be possible.

probably a burning weather balloon that got on the business end of a lightning storm. but if you don't believe that, then the only other explanation is a blimp or a real UFO

Technically, yes. If you saw an object... it was flying... and you couldn't identify it... then you saw an Unidentified Flying Object. A UFO. Congratulations!

Yes, you may have seen a UFO. Bare in mind that a UFO is a flying object that is not identified.

An "unidentified flying object"? Sure. But was it a alien spaceship? Probably not.

It may have been unidentified, it may have been a flying object, but it was not from another world.
