I love the open shopping, the fish shop and all the interesting people!

I was completely enchanted with pikes place!!! I didn't want to leave....
I went to Seattle when my hubby's company paid for us to go up, for a conference...I had the day to myself wandering around the market, not only did I get to experience a whole different world....(I'm from Utah) but the people were so nice, everyone, in every stall... the food is amazing.... of course I had to have a cappuccino, and stopped at a French bakery for a fresh croissant. One guy GAVE me a 2 pound peach.... just because I had never seen them that big before, and I wanted to take a picture of it!!! (yes I am a touristy type!!)
I bought some hand made jewelry, stuff you cant find ANYWHERE else!!
The bouquets were beautiful, I had fresh made clam chowder in a bread bowl for lunch..YUM!!
And to top the whole experience off, the fish throwers had a good time teasing me with my camera and fish!

The diversity of the market... there is truly something there for everyone and you are almost guaranteed to see something that you have never seen or experienced before... even if you have been there 100 times it is always different... of course I would be remiss if I did not mention that Pike Place is the birthplace of Starbucks Coffee and the home of the greatest macaroni & cheese ever made at Beecher's.

I think what I love best are the beautiful bouquets of flowers you can buy in the summer. They are a fraction of the price you would spend at a florist and they are just gorgeous!!
I also love having lunch at the Emerald City Cafe. Their burgers taste just like the ones that my grandmother used to make. :)
