I am just wondering what my due date is.. I know that the baby isn't always born on that date... just wondering if that bumps my pregnancy ahead 4 days?

After 12 weeks the Ultrasound isnt 100% so if your US was done after that they could be off as much as 2 weeks. But anyway..4 days doesnt usually change your due date...at my 20 week US they said my baby was 5 days small but never did change my due date. Plus only 4% of women actually have the baby on their due date. So..good luck..that baby will be here when its ready.

The same thing happend to me .My due date (as my LMP goes)was 08/20/06 before I had my ultrasound , then the doc. said that the baby looks like he is too small. So he change my due date to 08/25/06. My son was born on 08/17/06 weighing 7lb.4ounces (totally normal) So I guess you should go by your LMP.

whilst they set a due date interior the initiating, they have a tendency to adhere to it. till your ultrasound shows to be way off. my toddler became measuring 2 weeks greater advantageous than my LMP, and that they nevertheless did no longer substitute it. they do no longer substitute it for some motives. some toddlers improve somewhat swifter at particular levels in being pregnant, and now and returned an ultrasound might properly be somewhat off whilst determining how large the toddler is.

honestly nobody can tell the exacty date you will give birth. You could deliver way before your ultrasound or LMP said you would. or you could deliver a week or so after. but like i said nobody ever knows when the due date is except the baby.

Your due date is just a rough estimate of when your baby is due. You baby can be born a couple weeks before or after. And actually only 5% of babies are born on their due date.

Ask your doctor, it might change and it might not. My due date chaged by 2 weeks and I ended up having him 2 weeks before that date. So he came almost a month earlier than my original due date.

I would go with the ultrasound seeing it actually measures the size of the baby.

Maybe you had a period when you were pregnant? sometimes your body doesn't recognize the pregnancy. I would go with the ultrasound but every baby is different
