If you want to know where you will be tomorrow, consider where you were yesterday, and where you are today.

Your future tomorrow will largely be determined by your actions today.

Never ask the barber if you need a haircut: he will always tell you that you do.

Never draw to an inside straight.

Never play poker with a man named "Ace".

Never purchase a pit bull from a one-armed man.

Never eat at a restaurant named "Mom's".

Never marry anyone with more problems than you have.

You are the one who will determine whether your life is a success.

Life is unfair. It has ever been thus. This is quite unlikely to change.

The Consumer Society of the USA is based on people buying thing they do not need with money they do not have (that is, on credit) to impress people they do not know.

If you do what everyone does, you can expect to get what everyone gets, which is most often the dirty end of the stick, or possibly the Shaft.

Experience is paramount. The Devil (if there is one) knows more because he is old than because he is the Devil.

You will learn from your mistakes if you are clever. If not, it is quite likely that you will repeat them.

You will die, probably unexpectedly. You have no control over this, unless you commit suicide. Plan accordingly.

The two kinds of immortality that can be proven are these: you live on through your children, and in the memories of those who have known you.

That is hard to say considering that I am still young and hope to learn and gain more knowledge, with the life that I have still remaining. I have learned that a person's mind changes everything, it is never the same, it is always different, and that when something you say or do now is something that in the future, to turn back time, you would not be capable of doing such things ever again.

I've learned that no good comes from unforgivness and holding grudges. I spent most of my teenage years hating my father. Granted, he did do some horrible things, but because I was unable to see past his faults it was too late when he died on my 17th birthday. It is the only thing in my life I regret, not being closer to him.

I have learned that family is the most important thing in my life. Not to take them for granted because they wont always be here.
Enjoy every minute you have with them. Take the time to tell them you love them. Embrace them.

That everything happens for a reason even if we may not realize it at the time. Things such as death, poverty, stupidity and so forth all happen to test the boundaries and the limits of our souls.

Don't pick your nose in public. If you must, don't try to hide the boogers by eating them. It compounds the problem.
