.

1. Open Word
2. Enter your permanent text that you do not want changed.
3. To make a field for the client to enter information
Use the FORMS tool bar.
If you do not see the Forms toolbar RIGHT click a blank space on any tool bar and in the submenu CHECK Forms

4. In the body of the text put your cursor where you want the client to be able to enter information
5. On the FORMS tool bar click the
box with a lower case ab. This will inject the text box for the client.
6. Click it several times to lengthen the text box you want.
7. Double click the field quicly a couple of time to get options window to open and >
select "Regular text"; "Fill in enabled"; and you can set the length of text box limitation.
8. On the FORMS tool bar there is also an option to make a CHECK BOX
9. After you have the project done
you will "protect" it so that the "permanent" text can't be altered by:
Click top toolbar TOOLS > Protect Document >
Select optioin FORMS and put in a password you WON'T forget.
10. Notice that AFTER you "Protect" the document is when you will be able to "fill in" the text boxes for the client.

Make a mini practice form and utilize the options
to get comfortable with the process.

Forms - Right-click on a toolbar at the top of the page. Check Forms. A Forms toolbar should appear. Place your cursor wherever you want a field. Click the Text Form Field button on the Forms toolbar (the button with the letters). A form field will appear.

Repeated text - Do you want it in a header or a footer? Choose View from the menu bar. Select Header and Footer. Header and footer boxes will appear on the page. Text placed in these boxes will be repeated on each page by default.
