We don't really know.

If we go anywhere, it is somewhere that people cannot return from and describe to those who have not died.

There are several possibilities.

You die, and your memory dies with you. You do not come back.

You die, and proceed to some form of afterlife.

There are several forms of afterlife that have been postulated: Christians believe officially that you stay dead until the Return of Jesus. When he returns, everyone gets his physical body back, and is judged. The bad and the unbelievers go to Hell (or maybe just cease to be), and the good go to Heaven, where the speculation is you will enjoy a really delightful eternity, singing songs of praise.

There is also a thousand years of peace somewhere in there on Earth, where Jesus runs a really peaceful and cool planet.

Tibetan Buddhists believe that after death, your soul leaves the body and floats about for 49 days. For the first ten days, the soul is convinced that it is dead. For the next 39, it seeks a new body to inhabit, which could be an animal or a human. A very few souls are united with the Divine in a state called Nirvana. Some of these choose to return voluntarily to Earth and live as Buddha-like beings to orient others.

There are several other views of a linear system such as Christianity, as well as a circular one, like Buddhism.

properly what do you've self belief takes position? some human beings trust in reincarnation.. Others trust in we bypass to Heaven or Hell.. some trust we stick round contained in the afterlife.. and some human beings merely trust no longer some thing takes position, we die and thats it, its over.. in my opinion, I dont recognize what i trust.. at the same time as i'm a believer of the mystical, I also quite trust in reincarnation.. Its merely one among those issues i imagine that none human beings will ever really recognize.. i wager ill locate out when I die, huh?

You need to establish a foundation of faith in order to find your own opinions of what eternity is like.
We are actually spiritual creatures on an earthly journey.
Our energy leaves our body. And the creator of the Universe takes us to the spiritual place. We can't begin to understand what it means or where it is.

Some talk of fire and brimstone. Actually if you aren't connected to the creator your death leaves you separated from Him.

Lots of descriptions of heaven and hell are taken right out of ancient folk lore

when u die...its just that your soul gets departed from ur physical body...nd practically speaking with no connection to philosophy, what i feel is it makes no sense in stressing on hell or heaven coz if v r n heaven v have only one company n thats god but if we go to hell we can definitely meet our old friends there..

THAT my friend, IS the magic question.....

I would rather believe in God and die to learn i was wrong,
than to NOT believe in God and die to learn i was wrong.
