What are some Animes to show someone who is completely biased against all things Japaneese? (I don't know if I spelt that right...) She is really random and likes funny things.

If they're more of humorous shoujo person, try Ouran High School Host Club. It's really a ton of fun and very hilarious. You'll have them in stitches in no time, that I can promise!

If they're more of a serious, battlistic person I'd say Naruto or Inuyasha. They're both considered 'classic' anime and great for anyone to start on as Baby's First Anime. They're both great action series.

If they're feminists, try Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon, one of the best shoujo series ever. A little humor, a little drama depending on the episode, but lots of shiny stuff and some awesome, inspiring scenes and speeches in the more dramatic episodes! ^^

WARNING: Never, never, ever show someone dubs for the first time. No matter what. The dubs are always of much lower quality than the original. Get out those sub downloads!

Screw that warning. Dubs are how i started out before moving to the raw unedited stuff. Dubs maybe cruddy at points. But they are the reason why more people need to watch them in their original japanese form.

Anywho. for someone who are biased and you want them to get more into anime. Then anime movies would be a good start. Movies like Akira, Vampire hunter D, or movies from Miyazaki (spirited away, Princess mononoke) and Leiji Matsumoto (Captain Harlock, Galaxy Express 999).

And since you mention of random funny things. Then BoBoBo is right up there. its as random and funny as it can get. Other anime comedies that are not as much random but they are in funny are Pani Poni Dash and Misume Kanban Muteki.

I love the project a-ko series.

The Professional: Golgo 13
Akira
Vampire Hunter D

The last three are more dramatic, A-ko is humorous.
