Yes, a definition of fate. And no matter how much you try that will remain the same!

I believe that will always be TRUE.

We can not be the BEST all the time nor the WORST.
We may be hungry but those in Africa are hungrier.
We may be wealthy but Bill Gates will always have more money

This will always be true regardless of you effort. But you can do the best that you can for yourself. And remember that everything is relavent. An Example:

Others may see Aborigines as poor, dirty people living in povery and ugly huts. You may see these people as seekers who are happy with more freedom than Americans and they enjoy living a simple life.

You may think that someone in New York (Manhatten) is wealthy and classy and dresses in rich stylish clothes. That they must have a dream job and be popular.
In reality, this person is miserable. They hate the city and would love the country and living in nature. They would give this life up if they could live on a farm somewhere in Ohio. But their spouce would never move so they remain miserable.

Everything is VIEW. How we view others and their circumstances and how they are different than ours. So poor to one is rich to another and so forth.

Lets live in the moment and live the way that makes us happy.

Yes, it is true. It's also true that seasons change and people
change. A person worse off today could develop new skills,
new talents, and hence, new invention a month from now.

There will always be people that are better off than I am. Varied
interests are the real reasons for varied abilities and knowledge.
Some will be more skilled and know more about certain fields
than I.
As far as to who will be worse off than I, that is rather subjective.
A person who might make less money than I do might be
better off than I am for reasons other than income.

There will always be an elite in every field of human activity.
It's not a question of intelligence, or even a lack of it.
There's not a single cause, but as many causes as there
are people on the planet. Vive le difference.

sure that's a true statement, but has nothing to do with fate. Seems you misunderstand the statement. What it means is that you should be thankful and appreciative for what you have in that you have it better in life than some people . It also means that you could be in either of the three groups and that it's your choice which you choose, that you could have the best of everything. It is a statement too that keeps a person level headed in knowing there are always goals to be accomplished. It also is a statement telling one to not be egotistical because there's always someone better than you even if it's only one person. That statement is meant for strength and for encouragement and not as "fate".

"Better off" or "worse off" is totally a matter of perspective and opinion. I believe we all choose what we do with what we have. It is totally an "inside job". In other words, what we tell ourselves about our life is our reality of our life. If I wake up and say, "I can do this", "I can take pleasure in this part of my day", "life's good", then that is how my life will be. If I wake up and say, "life sucks", "I can't do it", "I'm miserable", then that is how my life will be.

We shouldn't compare our lives to other's. Stuff is just that - stuff. It doesn't make us happy or miserable - we allow ourselves to be happy or miserable. Everyone struggles and everyone has the potential to be happy. We can be there for one another and be real with one another because we are all in this "life" thing together. And that is what makes life OK.

Peace and love!

We all come into this world the same. When we leave this world we will also leave the same. The big diff is how many lives has one touched in a possitive way. Yes there will always be people that are better or worse off than me....but so far I have no regreats.

Although I dont believe that what you have above is so much a definition of fate, as much as it is a statement of reality. The only fate any person has control over is themselves.

Yes, it is true, there will always be people worse off than you, And there will be people better then you as well. Since this is a Question and Answer website and you can't answer your own question that is why I am asking your question even though you already answered it.

This is obviously a true statement, if you are rich financially, you may not be emotionally, though you may be emotionally rich in your family life and happy with your partner and or children, you may be ecomoically poor, no-one ever has a perfect life, each of us has to have a struggle to better ourselves in some way or other or we would have no aims or goals in life, and not having these goals would lead to entropy of the human race and eventually its demise in one sense or another,

All that we can do is to make the best out of what we have--to be the best people we can be. To educate ourselves to the best of our abilities is important.

Sure there will always be people better off, and people worse off, for 98+ percent of people.
