I started wearing lip gloss when I was about 12 years old too!!!! There are a lot of great brands out there. However, I wouldnt recommend buying really expensive brands just yet. Experiment first with cheap(but still good quality brands) lip gloss that you can find anywhere. I would suggest for your skin color MegaSlicks Lip Gloss in Sun Glaze, sheer coral, Strawberry ice..and clear!!! They would all look good.. You can see them here:http://www.wnwbeauty.com/cosmetics/lips/lipgloss/megaslicks-lip-gloss.cfm.. It would also be fun if you made your own lipgloss..I loved to do that..and I still do!!! Here is the recipe:http://familycrafts.about.com/cs/recipecollections/a/bllipgloss.htm Its fun to do with friends!!!!

If you dont want to wear clear, then go for something with a little shimmer. Stay away from the really bright colors, or ones with glitter. Believe me, they actually make you look younger! You want to look older or more "mature" then stick with maybe a nice soft berry color, with a gentle purply/brown shade. Cover Girl makes some good ones. I remember being young, and thinking that this awful bright red lip gloss was cute. Now I am 24, and I wouldnt be caught dead in the stuff! Stick with this advice: Less is more with makeup. You want to look like you, but polished up. Hope this helps!

Cover Girl has some great lip gloss and the price is good. Neutral shades if you want color will be good for a 12 year old girl.

It's funny how that women my age want to wear make up to look younger and girls your age want to be old enough. You have a look with your skin right now (most likely) that don't need to be covered up. What ever color you get use a shear color that lets your natural color show through. Since your darker then light burgundy is nice. Get some samples and try them on. Just stay away from heavy looking stuff. It sends out a beacon sign that says "Slut!" If your cool with it, and use the transparent looks, then your gonna rock girl. There are a lot of make ups in the mall that is light powdery stuff with a hint of glitter. You might want to try that. Bonny Bell has some great stuff too. Just let what ever you get accent your natural beauty, and not cover it up. Older, is OUT>!

Go for something like Maybelline, they shiny little lip gloss roll ons that come in some really pretty pastel colours. Try and stay with the fresh " peachy" look. Being 12 I know you're grown up babe but you don't want to look cheap and tarty by going for the darker colours. I've got olive skin and dark hair and I use a peach coloured lip gloss.

i'm thirteen, and that i for my section do no longer think of that that's lots. of course, there are older people who might disagree, yet i do no longer think of that's lots. while i became 12, i did no longer placed on particularly as lots. All I wore became lip gloss often times, some mascara, little or no eyeliner, and a tiny beginning up right here and there. Now, I nonetheless placed on that, a tiny, tiny, tiny little bit of concealer for as quickly as I also have a pimple or on the backside the place my skin is kinda pink from zits, often times some organic colored eyeshadow. What I placed on on days that i'm going out/standard (specifically to college) a splash black eyeliner (that's particularly substantial) Black mascara a splash beginning up Pinkish lip gloss

Chanel in Glaze is universal and it;s a great lipgloss!
If you want more color, i would recommend, Chanel in Rose Sand, it is a rosy pink with small silver sparkles in it, comes on very pretty and feminine. If you would prefer a red shade (which seems to be the trend right now, and that i don't like very much) then you should try Chanel in Spark, it is a berry color that is very classy and sophisticated, and it would look great on medium skintones (my friend uses this color).
all these are Chanel Glossmiers, may be expensive $24.50 but they are worth every penny, plus it's not like you're buying any other type of makeup so might as well splurge!!
good luck!

Lucky you! You have great skin tone that should compliment just about any gloss that you get. Sally Hansen makes a line of gloss called Lip Infinity (I think...something like that). It includes oils that increase blood flow to your lips and will cause them to plump up a bit and color a little more on their own. It comes in various tints and in clear.

Try the Goldie lip gloss from Bath & Body Works. It comes in many different shades. I have a very light pink shade and it is my favorite lip gloss that I have EVER owned.
