Fall in love with someone that you knew was married, but you could not help yourself?

Been there, done that. Not the best situation.
Nothing worse than loving from afar, knowing that you can't/shouldn't ever act upon your feelings. I find myself in this situation too frequently...maybe even currently!

Human nature being what it is, I don't think there is anything wrong about developing feelings - possibly even love - for someone who is married. In fact, this can happen almost naturally just by having two people spend time together - maybe like coworkers who spend a lot of time together. But a person of strong character would recognize the boundary created by marriage and not actively pursue those feelings or interfere with the marriage.

i think i could...my mom did well someone fell in love w/ her and she was married...i love her bf to death even if it meant that my mom split w/ my dad...but yea i think if it was really love then yea....hey you can't help who you fall in love with right and i mean it was all for the best.....my parents relationship wasnt the best....i guess you just have to know and understand what you are getting yourself into....that type of thing isnt just playin around stuff....it is a real and serious feeling that could make or break something....but like i said you just have to know what could happen in the end and dont do it for some stupid reason....if its real and you know it then go for it....no offence to anyone out there but that is my opinion

Like you said, you can't help who you fall in love with. So, yes, I would. However, I would make myself miserable in the process because I know my love will be unrequited.

I suppose I probably could,as a person can't just switch their feelings on and off,but I would never in a million years show my feelings or do any thing about it because I could never like myself for being a home wrecker.

Never, I easily get turned off just knowing someone likes someone else, what more if he's married.

no i wouldn't do that because i would like anyone to take my man not that they can...so y take someone Else's ..remember this proverb ALL FAIR TILL LOVE IS WAR that's saying everything was OK before u stole some Else's man
