Well it depends on what you want out of an apple.
If you want low acidity... should try Golden Delicious
If you want Crunchy and sweet... Should try a Pink Lady
If you want firm with tartness... try a Matsu, granny smith or Jona Gold.
If you like a meally taste then you will like mactintosh.
Other apples to try are Ida Reds.
my favorite is the Pink Lady and the Matsu.

i love those really small ones. i forget what type hey actually are but like the whole kind are small enough to hold in your hand i love those. i can go for an all day hike throw like 4 or 5 of those in my bag with a few bottles of water and be good to go.

I like Pink Lady apples the best. They are just SO yummy. Give me one of those, and a slice or two of cheddar cheese, and I'm happy!
