My stepdaughter has begun stuffing her bra... It's obvious that she is doing it, and I have busted her before, made her remove the socks, etc... But she is doing it again. Do I have to be on sock patrol every morning or what? She is very thin, and of course small chested. I think the fact that she is now in Jr. High and around 14, 15 year olds is part of it, I can understand that, but at the same time I think, why be so focused on this, and why do it when it's obvious what your doing.... If I can tell, I am certain the other girls at school can. Any suggestions?

Maybe you should take her to get a padded bra instead of her stuffing and having to be embarrassed. You could also point out some attractive famous women who are small-chested. This might make her feel better.

i would take her shopping and buy her a really nice padded or push up bra. nothing too grown up. i was completely flat chested throughout high school so i know how she's feeling. but to have her stuff her bra with something like socks is not the way to go. no matter what you tell her, its something she'll have to grow out of. there is alot of pressure at school. i was constantly teased by friends, boys you name it. just let her know she doesn't need a big chest to be confident and beautiful. in time, she will develop more. she needs to be happy with the way she is and not what society says is perfect.

Im sure more girls than you think are also doing this at her school. Tell her that you know what its like being a teenager, and you went through the whole "chest" problems. Heck, every girl does. Tell her that they will eventually come. It just depends on different people. Tell her that you dont want other people to notice that her bra is stuffed. Tell her that you dont want to be rude, but its very obvious that shes stuffing her bra. Tell her that you just dont want her getting embarissed at school when someone else notices it. Tell her that they will come, and she just needs to be patient.

I don't think you should make her stop. She probably does it because she has insecurities and feels bad about not having boobs. If you stop her from looking what she thinks is "good", she might lose some self esteem, or not feel pretty, or other bad things. Just let her do it, it's not like she's doing anything really bad. (Plus, you know, nothing could really happen between her and a guy, she wouldn't want him too close to find that out....)
Also, she is probably embarrassed about it in the first place.... It's just insecurities, and I don't see anything wrong with it. There are girls her age with C cups.

Advice: Talk to her...offer to buy her a bra that will enhance her figure. But if you buy it, she has to stop stuffing her bra. Then take her out to try on some bras that help. She's growing up mom...get use to it...lol. She just wants acceptance by her peers instead of criticism. Just trying to fit in. Whatever you do...never make fun of her....make her understand...you care and want to help.

just sit down and talk to her and tell her people at school aren't gonna like her cause she has a big chest they will like her for who she is. tell her that if she wants to impress a boy or whatever she has to stop doing it cause it is a turn off for guys.
and if girls figure it out then rumors will start going around school about her. i don't think she would want that.
its better to have a flat chest then to be made fun of cause she stuffs her bra

Obviously she has a crush on someone so you need to sit her down and tell her that she is a beautiful young girl. Tell her that if any boy was worth her time then she wouldn't have to stuff her bra for him to notice her. You just need to really trust her and her decisions.

you could let her stuff them if it makes it feel better about yourself
or sit down and talk with her and say "if other people find out, youll be made fun of, id rather be made fun of with a small chest then bra stuffing"

I did it too i dont really think it can hurt anyone except her like what of someone finds out she's stuffing ohh that would be so embassasing.

im her age, and i understand. i just say let it go. shes gonna realize its not gonna get her a bf or anything. and her classmates will me highly suspicious if she becomes that large overnight...lol.
but let her find out that if she tries to look voluptious and provocative or whatever the motive is...she will only attract bad guys, not good moral ones.
but its not a big deal....shell realize no one cares and will get over it.
