i own a repair shop,and i always recommend a good Toyota corolla or a Nissan sentra there real good cars and hold their value really good,and they last real good also,that's the good thing about them,they wont break you up in repair bills either,and there cheap operated also,and with gas going up and down like it is ,either one of those is a good investment ,you might want to check in to one of those,they hold their value real goo,good luck i hope this help,s.

Well, it all goes down to how you drive and maintain your car. I would recommend a clean title low mileage 94+ honda accord or Acura Integra. Really nice and fun to drive and it wont mess up on you unless you do something stupid.

Also, if you want just dependability I suggest a Toyota camry too. I had one for 10 years and still running strong.

toyota carolla and camry will be your best bet.

old volvo 850s and 240s are also indestuctable, but more expensive to fix.
