I'm moving up to Leeds from Bristol with work and looking to rent a 1/2 bed place in a nice area with good transport links. I want somewhere with life, but somewhere reasonably safe. I need somewhere to concentrate my search on when I visit next week!
I can pay up to £650ish a month...

Keep away from the Chappeltown, Harehills, Beeston and Hunslet areas!
The city center is excellent and you can probably find some good accommodation there, maybe a bit pricey though, alternatively, Headingley is fantastic! Yes its a student area of Leeds, but the houses there are good quality, there's loads to do in that area and the prices are probably the best in the whole of Leeds!
