No he mean a magikarp that is big like one the weights a lot.

All Magikarp evolve into Gyarados at lvl. 20 in all games. They don't just evolve at any random level. But you'll be better off fishing for Gyarados anyway.

No, just catch a gyarados and give it to him. If its bigger than his he'll give you a net ball. Catch others and if they're bigger than their predesccor he'll give you another net ball. (catches water types easier)
