i got a brand new Jonas Brothers CD and downloaded it onto my iTunes so I could put it on my iPod. On both the computer and iPod (Nano) It sounds bad. It skips and it just sounds weird. The CD sound perfect, though, Could when the songs were transfered to the computer messed with the songs? I really want them to sound clear. Is there a soulution?

This happens sometimes when importing CDs. Go to edit>preferences>advanced and click on the 'Importing' tab. Then check the box next to 'Use error correction when reading Audio CDs.' This will slow down the import time but it should improve the sound quality.

How did your rip your CD to iTunes format?
To make life simpler, just use iTunes. Make sure (see preferences in iTunes) that you use the default compression rate (I think 256 kbits/s). If you use very low bit rate (say 64 kbits/s), the quality of the ripped songs decreases significantly
