Life sprang from the oceans, and the oceans formed from comets that bombarded the Earth billions of years ago...I guess we are all made out of star-stuff....the comets provided the water to form the oceans, as well as providing organic compounds, and life formed with in the waters and from the organic compounds.

We are connected to space because the Earth's rotation around the sun regulates the seasons and the moon' s pull controls the tides of the oceans on Earth.

Hi. The closest connection is the oceans and the Moon. Without the Moon generated tides, there would not have been pressure put to bear on amphibious creatures. And without these creatures, land dwelling creatures may not have developed, at least as soon as they did.

with out the oceans we would not be able to feed the masses. if the oceans die so do we. we need to learn all about space and spend as much time as we can exploring. if we don't we will not survive. one day our sun will die. we cannot live here. we need to solve our problems here first.
