Hi! I'm on my way to finding out, but the websites are slow now. I went to the official provincial website of Laguna province. From there, I was going to check the tourist links and the municipality links. Then the website pretty much stopped loading.

I'll check again later... or you can check it. Good luck! It sounds like a wonderful place.

Actually, this is a very interesting subject why Spanish didn't became our official language in the Philippines or we Filipinos didn't even know how to speak spanish yet we are colonized by Spain for 300 years. In the early times, I suppose our forefathers speak Spanish but not their official language per se. President Manuel Quezon speaks fluent Spanish during the 1930's. I suppose two things, because the Spaniards are abusive that is why it is not spoken by the Filipinos and the dawn of the American influence has virtually closes the doors for Filipinos to learn Spanish through American culture and ROCK 'N ROLL hits and personality like Elvis Presley and others. That is why everybody speak English now even buying toron or balut or fish ball in the street they asked HOW MUCH IS THIS BALUT... SHALL I TUHOG TUHOG THIS FISH BALL .....? This is our lost actually if only we can speak 2 languages apart from Pilipino of our own, like Spanish and English(read & write) we can invade the Latin American countries like you mentioned here Mexico, Argentina, Panama, Ecuador, Portugal, etc....we could say we Filipinos are the citizens of the world.
