usually i shave for work, but i'm thinking i'll go there without shaving tomorrow.
i think a short beard looks good for a change.
i work packing food and my manager has mentioned i should come in without any stubble at all, because that;s just their policy or something.
would this have more to do with a risk of hair getting into the food (i don't think there's much risk of my beard hair falling out), or does it have more to do with looking "clean" for customers? (i always shower)
so, what do you think? should i shave or keep my semi-beard?

Check with your manager for exact policy on beards (not 'stubble'). Manager's personal preference doesn't really count but that depends on how large your company is and how much you need your job.

The reason is irrelevant. The policy states no facial hair or as you've indicated "no stubbles". If you do not agree with their policies, find another place to work. Until then, obey them.

grow a cute mustache and beard, u can keep it neat,
try shaving with olive oil or baby oil if u do shave, clean look

out of fear of getting rep remanded or fired, I'd shave. It's a clean factor for customers, if you look unshaven, you'll look kinda bummish, and people won't want to eat there.

Dont grow a pluckable length and i suggest you shave if your manager doesnt like it. Managers are mean people.

definately shave...i get too many comments from clients and customers when i dont..."you must have had a big night..not shaving and all" etc etc...too annoying to handle so i just shave

Honor your boss's advice, whether you agree with him or not.
Shave. Getting written up over not shaving is not worth it.
