What are the Federal guidelines concerning lunch breaks and breaks?

See http://www.dol.gov/dol/topic/workhours/breaks.htm for information. Basically, federal law doesn't require them, but if you do get them, lunch breaks don't have to be paid but short breaks of 5 to 20 minutes do.

most states its every 4 hrs a 15 min break and every 9 hours a hour break..

I believe that if you work 6 hrs., then they must give you atleast 30 min. I am sure there is more, but I don't know what else there is. Good luck!
