Some good books I read you can find more as listed in the web site below.
However, these are my favorite titles not in the list:
1. The Cairo Trilogy by Naguib Mahfouz
2. A Suitable Boy by Vikram Seth
3. To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee
4. Down and Out in Paris and London by George Orwell
5. Love In the Time of Cholera by Marcia Marquez
Try to find some and read them.

I'm not sure what you're into, but I completely fell in love with Chaim Potok. I'd suggest The Chosen, The Promise, In the Beginning, My Name is Asher Lev, or The Gift of Asher Lev (I'd suggst more, but I've only read those books of his thus far.)

It depends on what you like, but if you're looking to expand your horizons and you're in high school, i suggest homer's Illiad, Also Dante's Inferno is good too, and if you plan to go to college, they are both on your college reading list.
