Prince. If the prince (the father) is the inheritor of the thrown he is the crown prince, and his son is a prince. Then, when the crown prince becomes the king, the prince (the son) becomes the crown prince.
Hope that made sence.

The son of a prince is still a prince. Prince Phillip is the father of Prince Charles, who is the father of Prince William, and if he has a son, that child will also be a prince.

In Britain, it depends on whether this prince is the son or grandson of the sovereign. If he is the son, then his son is also called prince. If he is a grandson of the sovereign, like the Dukes of Kent and Gloucester or Prince Michael of Kent, then his son is called 'Lord (Firstname Lastname)'.
Prince Michael's son is called Lord Frederick Windsor, and the Duke of Kent's younger son is Lord Nicholas Windsor. The *eldest* sons of the Dukes of Kent and Gloucester are called by their fathers' secondary titles (Earl of St Andews and Earl of Ulster) but this is simply how peerage titles work and it not connected to royal status.
In Europe the title continues endlessly, so all sons of princes are called prince even if the monarchy has been abolished.

Prince Andrew does not have any sons;; just two daughters.
Prince Charles has two sons.
I expect we should call either of them "Sir".when speaking with them, once we have acknowledged their proper title.
