well the national pastime is baseball but according to most people football is america's sport. technically they are correct. football is played only in the USA(some in Europe but its not the majority). Baseball is played in Latin America and Asia. So i'd say football

I don't think the U.S.A. has an official sport, but it would probably be baseball, since that is the 'National Pastime'.
