Sorry, I know this sounds mean, but you'll just have to deal with it. I mean, if it's really bugging you, you can talk to your coach about them BEING LATE, not about the ball thing. Besides, just get the ball back when he shoots. (Go get the rebound)

im a freshmen but i dont have the same problem as you. But if i was you i would of just taken it back. I mean whats he gonna do get into a fight with you so he can get kicked off the team.

As a coach, I want you to learn to be bigger and stronger. I want you to fight for your ball. This is not a matter to see a coach about. If you need to talk to someone talk to a Senior Captain..

Get the rebound, and make sure he can't get it back. If you go long enough without him getting it, he'll give up and move on to someone else.
