Some people go on American Idol just because they wanna get on tv.
My English teacher's friend's son went on American Idol. He didnt go to hollywood though.

No, I think many people honestly think they can sing, and people make fun of them by telling them how great they are. A true friend would be honest and say, "Hey, Dude, I know you think you're Dean Martin or Caruso or Barbra Streisand, but PUHLEEZ let's cut the vocals." It'd be a favor.

I heard that people to go on American Idol and the producers let them proceed because they sing bad. Who knows I guess someone you or I know will have to go on there and see...

Yes, they put bad singers through on purpose for "entertainment" value. People actually audition for other people and producers for the show before they see Randy, Simon, and Paula, so they put them through on purpose.

yes i love watching those type of people cuz its just so funny! I think they do just put them on 2 get people 2 watch though. Still America Idol rocks!!!!!!!!!!!
