That's why the NBA guys wear those legging things. To keep their legs warm and keep the blood moving.
If you don't have any of those or can't wear them the next best thing is to make sure you are loose. Lots of warming up, try to massage yourself, and stay warm.
When you go to the bench keep warm as well so you don't stiffen up. Usually once you get going you don't notice it.

You need to stretch. You should stretch before and after any kind of exercise. Most likely it is the calves that are bothering you. First warm up the muscles by running in place about 35 steps on each foot. Then, stand on the edge of a step and let your heels hang down. Don't bounce, just let the calf muscles stretch out. Run a few more steps and stretch again seeing if you can stretch a little farther each time.
If it is your thighs that are sore, warm up the muscles by doing some squats then, while standing on one foot, pull your other heel towards your buttocks. Hold it while you feel the muscles stretch out. Do the same on the other side.

Hey f#g. Have you never worked out the day before playing basketball? Is this the first time? "I play REAL basketball" Yeah, because there is fake basketball, its really popular. "is my production on the court" What production? If you are sore purely from basketball drills, it means you haven't done basketball drills so your legs aren't prepared. Get in shape. I'm saying this because you post on my questions and acting all offended about how I call Rondo G.O.A.T. Yeah, dude- I'm 100% Serious. @Anthony, wow, on my other question- you must be full on retard. i said @kiss me I'm irish, I was talking to someone else, I never said I was irish. You are a fool. Its unbelievable how stupid you are.

Stretch, get a massage, sit in a hot bath for a while. Also, wear compression shorts.Compression shorts keep the muscles warm to prevent pulls or strains.Compression shorts have also been proven to increase performance through the reduction of muscle oscillations, which will allow you to perform the same amount of work but expend less energy, which is important when your movement is limited since you are sore. You can also try calf sleeves. They will keep your calf warm so nothing freezes up on you,and it can recude cramping.

If you have time to soak in a really hot bathtub for a bit, that will help you out some.
