First you have to find out if hot water is flowing through the heater core. You do this by (carefully) feeling the temperature of the two hoses that go into the firewall. The temperature should be just about the same. If the temperature is not the same, the either the control valve is bad or the control cable is broken or even possibly one of the hoses is kinked or plugged up. If the temperature is the same, then the problem is inside the car and it could be a vaccum leak ,a bad servo or disconnected or broken controls..

Roadmaster drivers are a breed unto themselves...aaahhh the beautiful Roadmaster...I have never had a vehicle that was such a pima in my life...you really do not work on them...
We had that problem...sensor...
We also had the problem of the back crash light staying on and getting hot...keep an eye on that especially when you turn the car off (there is a switch on the break pedal that gets replaced it is a diy)...
Feel free to email as I am a sister Roadmasterer trying to keep it on the road within a reasonable money frame of mind.lol We really should keep a checklist as to what went wrong and how to solve....
