Do albino california kingsnakes require sunlight, or artificial lighting in order to survive?

i personally have had one and have a friend who owns one now, we both have put nothing but a heatpad under ours with regular room lighting, nothing special, but if you really feel its necessary, a low wattage red bulb like 50 would be good.

As long as you have the temperatures correct in the cage, no supplementary lighting is required. Normal shifts between daylight and dark are fine, and beneficial to the snakes well-being. You definitely don't want to leave it in a dark closet or have a light on it 24 hours a day. Good luck!

Nothing like UVB lighting that you hear about for other reptiles, if that's what you're asking. These are used mostly for animals that have calcium/Vit D3 deficient diets.
