Music TeleVision (MTV) in the US for false advertising?
We could do a class action lawsuit claiming false advertising, fraud, and other violations.
They only play music 5 hours a day now. around 20% of the programming is music. Around 80% of the programming are reality shows.
How about a Class Action Lawsuit and get and injunction to get them to play music at least 51% of the time (over 12 hours a day).
What say you?

Now they are showing reality shows on MTV2 as well.
They are lying to us.

An even better idea would be to buy 1 share of company stock and vote the management and board of directors out for poor performance.

this really bugs me too! mtv doesn't play enough music videos! after all what does freakin MTV STAND FOR??
MUSIC TELEVISION!!!!!! what the crap? reality shows are very funny, but so over rated , especially on mtv! plus what is up with TRL? they only show like 1 minute of a music video? THAT MAKES ME SO FREAGGIN MAD!lol
WE SHOULD DO SOMETHING!

nice idea but i doubt it would ever work. your best bet is just switch to comcast and use there free music television channels. they play music 24/7. they don't stop for holidays or nothing. they don't show music videos just advertisements but you do get t hear the songs all day long.

? 4 U ... Would you rather have what ya got or nothin at all? It is their companyto do with as they please and as long as you keep watchin; reality TV or not they still make the $$$, besides you arn't purchasing their service alone. Im sure MTV isnt why you have cable or satalite or whatever, besides who has 12 hours to watch music videos anyways?

That is not right, I really do think they should play music more then reality shows, their channel name is Music Television! I wouldn't sue for that though. You can, but I won't get involved!
