My old computer all I had to do was click the email once and it would highlight it and then I could delete it. If I wanted to read it I had to click it twice. Is there something similar on Dell computer?

Its note the notebook, it is the software onit. You can do this with outlook express. But you have to configure it for your emaila counts... which from the sound of your question... may be beyond your ability without some help.

It's difficult to be very precise since you didn't mention what email program you are using, but whatever it is you essentially want to turn the "preview" pane OFF. You'll see the message subject but not the body, then it will act just like your old computer.

BTW, it has nothing to do with what computer you are using, it's determined by the mail program and how it is configured.

What ever mail system you used on your old computer was what did the thing's you wanted. The dell or what ever make you use don't have a thing to do with the program's you are useing.Get the same mail you had before and your all set.
