Try McDonald's ...many years ago when I was teen we had 14 years old working there. The 14 year olds were very restricted in the hours they could work though. Maybe try a summer camp or perhaps a Vet's office....Maybe see if you can do kennel cleaning, dog walking. A local deli might also be OK with you being 14. Keep asking places somebody is bound to say yes! Good luck and I say you are very ambitious at your age to want to work !

The key is to find a place that is hiring employees BUT have more than one kind of specific job. A job that a Tennager under 16 would most likely get is one where you would either clean or do something that dosn't envolve any real skills. I started my job at ten working 15 dollars an hour at The Development Research Plant.I earn about 2,325 dollars a month. I purchased my own lap-top at the age of eleven, and I'm twelve now!

You know, I think it depends on what state you live in. I know in California you can work for a family member. I think the age is 16 or emancipation from your parents before you can get a job. You may be able to get a job if you had a note from your parents and principal. Check into it at your school. Good luck!

he federal fair labor standards act restricts the jobs that children can take.
At the age of 18, you can get what's considered "dangerous" jobs, such as at a manufacturing facility.
At 16, children can work in foodservice jobs.
At 15, you can work in "non-dangerous" jobs, like being a cashier at a retail operation (think Target or K-Mart).
At 14, you can work in agrictulture businesses
Under the age of 14, you can babysit or work a paper route, or work in a family business regardless of the method of work.
And yes, there are limits to the hours that people under the age of 18 can work.
