Just wondering if there is a company or service that rents out laptops for a fee? I live in Toronto, Canada and if anyone knows of such a company here that would be very helpful
thanks!

I don't know of any company that rents laptops or computers! If they did, it would most definitely have some strings attached so you end up paying in the end or loaded with spy software so they can monitor your activity.

Use the library computer, school, university or work to get some light internet use is probably your best free route.

most places like rent a center or rent smart allow you to do that. i don't know if you have them in Canada. but if you do you could get one for rent there. but i'll warn you, they are ridiculously expensive to rent, it's almost not worth it. here it's like 40 bucks per week...

I don’t believe any service would be free. Rent-a-Center is one place where you can rent anything from; however, I don’t know if there are any in Canada.

I vaguely remember hearing of a company doing this a few years ago. But I don't know anything else about it.
