Here is the question I need to answer:

A car travels a certain distance along a straight road (in the +x direction). The distance the car travels as a function of time is shown in the figure below.
When the car changes speed it does so uniformly.
Select the appropriate choice for each statement: T-True, F-False, G-Greater than, L-Less than, E-Equal to. (If the first is T, the second is G, and the rest E, enter TGEEEE).

A) The speed at 70 sec is ..... the speed at 10 sec.
B) The x-acceleration is ..... zero at 64 sec .
C) The x-acceleration is ..... zero at 15 sec .
D) The speed is ..... zero at 20 sec.
E) At 70 sec, the speed is as high as it gets.
F) The acceleration magnitude at 15 sec is ..... the acceleration magnitude at 37 sec.

Larger slopes indicate greater speeds - you are covering more ground (y-direction) per unit of time (x-direction). So at 70 sec, the slope is less than at 10 sec. So the first answer is less than.

Curves in your graph indicate acceleration (>0) or deceleration (<0). Curves that go up indicate acceleration, and curves that go down indicate deceleration. Any straight lines indicate a constant speed and thus no acceleration (=0). So the answers to the next two are equal to 0 at 64 seconds, and less than 0 at 15 seconds.

No slope indicates that you are stopped - your speed is 0. So for the fourth one, the answer is equal to 0.

Again, the steeper the slope, the faster the speed. At 70 seconds, the slope isn't as great as it is at 45 seconds. So that answer is false.

Finally, whenever you see "magnitude" you ignore the signs of the number. At 15 sec, the acceleration is positive, and at 37 sec, the acceleration is negative. For this questions we're going to ignore the signs and focus on the numbers. Again, the acceleration component is the curved part of the graph. The "tighter" the curve, the more acceleration. At 15 sec, the curve looks smooth and spread out. But at 37 sec, the curve looks sharper and tighter. So the last one should be less than.

So your answers should look like LELEFL.

You may want to look at the graph again in case I'm not interpreting slopes and curves the right way - your copy in your book or handout may be slightly different that what I'm looking at via your link, and the tightness of curves and determining the section with the greatest slope is subject to interpretation.

it may well be a solid wager this is 2... 2 is two factorial (if I remember that's what a factorial is (occasion: what proportion techniques can a line of human beings be arranged? the respond is the style of human beings factorial) and not yet another function). The N!'s cancel one yet another out, i think of.
