My wife has a birthday at the end of February. I am thinking about spending part of the weekend in Sonoma. Is there a good bed and breakfast place? We will probably spend most of the day sleeping and in the hot tub. It might be good to walk around if there is a downtown area. Any suggestions?

I stayed in a place on the Hwy.. not far from down town Calistoga.. Just google Sonoma Co. Bed and Breakfast Inns. Calistoga is really nice. You can go to the city of Sonoma and there might be some near by. Sonoma is a nice city.. I believe the cheese factory isstill there.. Sebastini Winery is down the street too..

for restaurants I would go to either the girl and the fig or della santina. right on the square downtown. as far as hotels, i like the fairmont (very expensive), macarthur place (great in hotel spa w/ services), and if you don't mind being 15 min closer to napa Carneros Inn. Ramekins is also nice and they offer cooking classes. Brickhouse Bungalows also looks very quaint.
As far as wandering around town. Definately head for the square. right in the heart of downtown. The Mission is there and lots of unique stores/boutiques and restaurants.
