Humans have released many animals, plants, insects and even diseases -- pure and hybrid into areas where they are not indigenous.

The outcome is ALWAYS disastrous to the local flora and fauna.

Here's a short list:
Starling, Rock Pigeon, Gypsy moth to the USA
Mongoose, Pigs, Goats, and Deer to Hawaii
Brown Tree Snake to Guam
Zebra mussel to the USA, and generally a pest worldwide

Your Ligers are not even wanted by zoos. Zoos only want pure species and hybrids are considered a waste of resources.
If you have delusions of hybrids being keep as pets -- there are literally thousands of them languishing in "Big Cat Rescues" all over the USA. One is not 20 miles from my front door -- They're hurting over there because of idiotic breeders.

You obviously don't have a CLUE how the ecosystem works if you think we could just randomly introduce an animal into a habitat it does not belong in. This mistake has been made many times in the past with disasterous results....hope scientists have learned a lesson by now and are way too smart to do somthing as stupid as you suggest.

Ligers? Oh, tigers. Due to the fact they become domesticated and will not be afraid of man. Already a problem in Asia.

Since ligers can't reproduce, you could release all of them but they would just die out.
