I'm 14 and a high school freshman and not long ago I jumped 33 feet on the Triple Jump.
It was my first time ever doing this event. My P.E teacher told me it was really good.

Is this good?
Should I join high school track?

This is a good distance ,especially considering your age and lack of
experience. Like all field events, this will take refinement in technique to improve. You have an excellent start. In fact, depending upon the population of your school and the class of competition that your school competes in , you might pick up some team points right now. Purchase or get get a library book on "the jumps", better yet, a video showing proper techniques or jumpers in competition. You obviously have some natural leg speed, which is a must to excell in this event. Try the long jump too. It is estimated that you can long jump 1/2 the distance of your triple jump. Your P.E. teacher would be justified to convince you to join the team, and give your name to the trach coach.
If you don't join, you'll always wonder how successful you could have been. I believe you have much potential. Good luck.
