Try it from holding the ball in your hands first, and bounce it behind your legs. After you can do that, then try to start from dribbling. Practice Practice PRACTICE

you need to lower you body (don't stand stiff and upright) and the goal is to bounce the ball side to side or slightly forward right behind the knee. If you dribble at a backwards angle, it's a useless dribble.

Also, it helps to swing your shoulders through the motion when you do it. Tough to explain, but really just keep practicing, but remember to pass it through side to side or slightly forward, and not backwards.

It's called practice, practice and more practice. Basically, you open your legs wide, one in front and one behind (almost like an "A" shape) Then simply pass the ball from your left hand to your right hand, "through" your legs.

You probably suck on basketball. It isn't that hard. It is called practicing. You have to have love for that sport.
