I'm wondering, because my daughter (19 years old) was in an accident where she lost control in the snow--no speeding, drugs or alcohol involved. She almost lost her own life and spent a whole year coming back after surgeries. The gentlemen in the van that she hit had only bruises and they each sued for a million. Insurance ended up settling $50,000 on each of them for their bruises. I can't even imagine what this family might try for.

Not for everything she has...but she will be sued. She wasn't under the influence of drugs and alcohol when this occured nor was she speeding. It will be treated like a regular traffic collision. It is just unfortunate that somebody had to die.

I think the family needs to sue Brandy and she needs to do something for them as well. She took away something that can never be brought back - life.
It may have been an accident but she needs to suffer the consequences and not expect to buy her way out of this situation.

Wow, i'm sure that she didn't mean to do what happened. It was an accident. She has insurance and I doubt she would be an ****** and leave those kids high and dry. I think she'll set up a college fund for something.

What I don't understand is Brandy's need to want to drive herself. Think about it, if she had a bodyguard drive for her, like all the other celebrities, this wouldn't have occurred.

She will more than likely be held liable since she hit the car from behind. I suspect they will sue for damages.

There will probably be a lawsuit...and probably only because Brandy has resources. If it had been you or me driving, there would be no reason to sue.
Don't everybody go getting all mad at her now...There's a reason they're called accidents, and it could have been any one of us behind the wheel!
